The Mt Wilga NDIS Therapy Team is your one-stop-therapy-shop. We are a truly multidisciplinary team, working together to assist NDIS participants to achieve their goals. Our therapy Support Plans are developed collaboratively with the participant and other team members, ensuring all therapy is coordinated and linked to appropriate NDIS goals. Due to the large size of our team, we have no waiting lists for NDIS Therapy Supports – with immediate availability across all disciplines.

Eligible individuals can utilise funding within their NDIS Plan to finance respite for up to 14 days at a time, and exists to provide carers with short-term breaks from caring responsibilities.

Staying in a private room on the ward at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, NDIS Participants accessing Short Term Respite are provided with all necessary supports in a 24hour period including support with self-care or community access, accommodation, food and activities.

If the participants NDIS Plan supports it, access to onsite Nursing and/or Allied Health services can also be arranged.

Eligible NDIS Participants requiring ‘transitional housing’ for up to 90 days can utilise funding within their NDIS Plan to finance MTA. This type of accommodation is often suitable for individuals ready for discharge from hospital, but awaiting the completion of home modifications or placement in specialist disability accommodation.

Staying in a private room with an ensuite, NDIS Participants accessing MTA are provided with complimentary meals. If the participants NDIS Plan supports it, assistance with self-care, community access, Nursing and/or Allied Health services can also be arranged.
