Inpatient Rehabilitation

Is suitable for people who require 24 hour medical and nursing care and are managed by a Rehabilitation Physician.

Day Program Rehabilitation

Is suitable for people who have established rehabilitation needs and are managed by a Rehabilitation Physician. Day program patients do not need the support of medical and nursing care. Many of our inpatients transition to our Day Program once they have gone home. If the patient is currently in the community, a Rehabilitation Specialist review is required. Please refer to the Medical Suites.

• Acute hospitals
• Medical specialists
• Surgeons
• General Practitioners

We accept eligible patients who are:

• Privately insured
• Self-funded
• Workers Compensation
• Compulsory Third Party
• Veterans Affairs (DVA)
• CAFAT

Ramsay Health Plus - Outpatient Allied Health

Is suitable for people who have rehabilitation or discipline specific needs but do not require the services of a Rehabilitation Physician or multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team. We offer appointments with single allied health disciplines or other Outpatient Groups or Programs.

Mt Wilga Medical Suites  

Rehabilitation Specialist review is required to assess and refer to program services at Mt Wilga Private Hospital if not a current inpatient.

Outpatient referrals need to be sent directly to the Medical Specialist with a Referral letter. 

What to include in your referral:

• Address Outpatient referral to the accredited Specialist  you wish to review the patient  or if not specific address to Mt Wilga Rehabilitation Specialist 
• Patient's name, address, date of birth, contact numbers, email address, compensation claim details (if relevant)
• Outline of presenting problem  including any relevant investigation findings or results
• Health Summary
• Other specialists or health care providers currently involved with patient
• Current medications
