Staff are entitled to use the gym and hydrotherapy pool facilities
Education program
All staff have access to an extensive ongoing education program. A comprehensive in house in-service and e-learning education program is available for all staff. There are annual compulsory in-services on customer service, fire and safety, infection control and CPR. Further to these mandatory in-services each department holds regular in-services on relevant topics.
In addition to this, funding is available for all departments to access for the purpose of external education.
Research programs and conference presentations are supported by Mt Wilga Private Hospital.
Employee assistance program
Staff have access to a free and confidential employee assistance program for services such as counselling. The EAP can be accessed through the Ramsay Health Care intranet site and is supported by PPC Worldwide.

Quality improvement
All staff members are encouraged to actively participate in the continuous quality improvement of the hospital services. Contribution of ideas for quality improvement can be done through department meetings and departmental quality improvement projects or through the various Hospital committees.
Patients are encouraged to evaluate our services and contribute their ideas on improvement opportunities through Patient Satisfaction Surveys conducted independently for the Hospital and through comment forms.
Private health insurance, corporate rates
Cheaper rates of private health insurance are available to new and existing staff at Mt Wilga Private Hospital through certain private health funds.
Library facilities
All staff are able to use the online facilities and resources through Ramsay Health Care for patient-oriented queries, research needs, teaching needs, preparing talks, keeping up-to-date information in your field, management/staff development needs or general information.
Social activities
The Hospital conducts a variety of fun, social activities and is a great way to meet other staff. Activities include such things as staff bbq’s, team participation in charity events and our wellness programs.
