Dr Helen Wu obtained her medical degree with first-class honours from the University of New South Wales. She underwent her physician training in Sydney, specialising in geriatric medicine, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017.
Her main research interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, and she completed her PhD on biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease from the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (UNSW). She is a conjoint clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney and is a staff specialist geriatrician at Royal North Shore Hospital and VMO geriatrician at North Shore Private Hospital.
Dr Wu is an experienced geriatrician with special interests in cognitive impairment and dementia, geriatric rehabilitation, orthogeriatrics and perioperative care. Dr Wu accepts referrals for inpatient geriatric rehabilitation and medical admissions at Mt Wilga Private Hospital.
