Mt Wilga's Cardiac Rehabilitation program is designed to help you if you are recovering from a heart attack, coronary artery bypass graft surgery, angina, angioplasty or disturbances in the heart rhythm.
Your rehabilitation program is directed by your Rehabilitation Specialist and you’ll be seen by a specialised team of professionals with a special interest in cardiac conditions. According to your needs this may include:
- exercise physiologist,
- occupational therapist
- dietitian
The program provides you with education, exercise and guidance in modifying your lifestyle. Our aim is to help you minimise the risk of further cardiac episodes and give you the confidence to continue a full and satisfying life with improved endurance.
