Information for visitors

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are between 10.00am and 8.00pm.

If you would like to visit outside of these hours, please contact the Registered Nurse in charge of the patients’ ward.

Please note that you should check with the patients’ therapy schedule prior to your arrival.  Unless you are being trained to assist the patient with their therapy or ongoing needs, we request that you visit outside the therapy times.

Parking

There is free parking available onsite at the hospital.

Transport to and/from Mt Wilga

Mt Wilga is approximately a 20 minute walk from Hornsby and Asquith train stations.

If you would like to travel by bus to the hospital from either train station please refer to the attached link

Flowers

If you would like to arrange flowers for a patient please call Hornsby Florist on 9987 4860.

Smoking

In accordance with Department of Health Policy, smoking is not permitted in the hospital.  One designated smoking area is provided away from all patient care and therapy areas. Please ask staff for directions to this location and ensure that you do not smoke in any other area.  Your assistance is requested in adhering to this request.
